This traditional Chinese soothing formula is reverently prepared in the form of a candy that has a hard minty shell and a soft syrup center of blended herbs. This Honey Loquat Candy tastes great and also works as a unique throat soother. Loquat is a yellow, pear-shaped, edible fruit of a small tree, Eriobotrya Japonica, native to Asia, now also commonly grown in California.

Ingredients: Glucose Syrup, Sugar, Loquat Leaf, Balloon Flower Root, Fritillary, Apricot Kernel, Honey, Mandarin Peel, Licorice, Menthol.

Robert D. ★★★★★

That hard minty shell cracking into the soft honey center is weirdly satisfying, and the herbal flavor is mild enough that I actually enjoy it instead of tolerating it. I've been keeping a few in my desk drawer for dry winter afternoons and they really do soothe a scratchy throat.

Mia ★★★★★

I keep these in my bag for when my throat starts feeling scratchy, and the soft syrup center is the best part. The honey flavor actually comes through instead of just tasting like plain mint.

Christopher ★★★★★

That hard minty shell cracking into the soft syrup center is oddly satisfying, and the honey flavor keeps it from tasting like medicine. I pop one whenever my throat feels scratchy from too much talking at work.
