This traditional Chinese soothing formula is reverently prepared in the form of a candy that has a hard minty shell and a soft syrup center of blended herbs. This Honey Loquat Candy tastes great and also works as a unique throat soother. Loquat is a yellow, pear-shaped, edible fruit of a small tree, Eriobotrya Japonica, native to Asia, now also commonly grown in California.

Ingredients: Glucose Syrup, Sugar, Loquat Leaf, Balloon Flower Root, Fritillary, Apricot Kernel, Honey, Mandarin Peel, Licorice, Menthol.

Abigail B. ★★★★★

The hard minty shell gives way to a soft herby syrup that coats my throat nicely when it's scratchy. I've been carrying a few in my bag during cold season and the honey center keeps them from tasting medicinal.

Ava M. ★★★★★

I keep these in my desk drawer and the honey syrup center is what sold me — it coats my throat way better than plain menthol drops. The mint shell is strong at first but fades into something herbal and sweet, which I actually prefer for a scratchy throat in the afternoon.

Charlotte ★★★★★

The hard minty shell cracks just enough before that soft herby center hits, and the honey keeps it from tasting like medicine. I keep a handful in my bag for dry office afternoons and they actually soothe my scratchy throat.
