Steeped a cup for my parents visiting from overseas and the slices held up through three refills without losing their mild, earthy taste. The 4oz bag feels generous for the price, and the roots are clean with no broken bits. They already asked where to get more before their flight home.
I’ve been steeping these in hot water every morning and the tea comes out smooth, not overly bitter like some other roots I’ve tried. The slices are uniform and easy to portion out for a single cup, which makes them perfect for a quick daily brew.
Sliced thin and uniform, so they steep fast in hot water—I've been adding a few to my morning tea and the flavor is mellow, not bitter at all. My mom back in Asia asked me to grab a bag for her next visit, and honestly, this size feels generous for the price.
